Being such a significant aspect that helped me reflect upon my life as a whole, Angela's Ashes became "my story". It was the tale told of an ordinary boy and his journey to manhood. It's funny how the journey of ones childhood can be set between the front and back covers of a book. It seems indifferent that this was and still is my life. As I look back I wonder if my life would be different if I had kept that job at the post office and stayed in Limerick my entire life. I wan to know what you think, did I make the right decision?

You definitely made the right decision, you are an inspiration to so many people and you have become such a huge success. If you had stayed in Limerick you definitely wouldn't have been be reaching your full potential as a writer.

You may be unsure about your decisions you made in your early life, but what you are today speaks for itself. Our past definitely affects our present but there is no use regretting your past decisions. Whether you made the right decision or not, your life is worth living. We are inspired by you, and that's rewarding enough.
